Prior to the beginning of Jesus' public ministry, we read of the work of John the Baptist. John filled one of the most important roles in the entire Bible. He was the precursor of Christ and came preparing the way for the Lord. If we seek to understand the message and ministry of Christ, we must start with the one who was sent to prepare the way of the Lord.
