To help meet the increased demand with our loaves and fishes pantry we are needing a few more volunteers to help stock and distribute the supplies. If you can help please see Joanna Wallis or Jean Prater.

Next month will be the District Fair in Jonesboro and the sign up sheet for working the church booth is posted in the foyer. We are responsible for the hours of 3pm to 9pm on Friday September 24th. If you can help with this project please sign up.

We will have a special guest speaker on September 12th and we hope that everyone can make a special effort to be with us. Bob Hewett will be back with us to deliver the Sunday morning lesson. This year makes exactly 50 years since brother Hewett preached his first lesson for this congregation. We will also have our congregational potluck that Sunday morning in the annex building, following our worship services.

The book club will meet again in September and John-Mark has the books ordered. We will let everyone know when they come in so we can get them to you.

This Saturday there will be a camp staff meeting with all the Summer Bible Camp staff. We will meet at 5 in the annex building and we will have hamburgers and hot dogs. If you would like to bring something for the meal please see Lance or Nesha Guest.

Our Fall Singles Retreat will be held at CRYC on September 24th-26th this year. The cost is $50 per person attending.
